Claire is the Founder of Sport Positive Summit and ClearBright Consulting and has spent over a decade in London and New York working on large-scale events production and global communications campaigns. The last nine years has been focussed on sustainability, renewable energy and climate change and sport.
Her work on sport has dominated the last 5 years and she was referenced in 2017 as ‘doing more than anyone alive to mobilize convocations for sustainability advocates throughout the sport world.’ Sport Positive Summit is the global meeting place for sports effecting positive environmental impacts, in collaboration with UNFCCC Global Climate Action and International Olympic Committee.
Her work and opinions have been referenced in the Guardian, SportsBusiness Journal, IUCN business blog and UN Environment’s ‘Ask the Expert’, BBC Radio 4 Women’s Hour amongst others, she regularly speaks at industry events. ClearBright Consulting has supported various organisations in their events and communications goals also, including UN Environment, UNFCCC, Climate Action, Earth Security Group, The Telegraph, Earth on Board, SportsPro, British Association of Sustainable Sport (BASIS) and more.
Claire is a Trustee and Board Secretary of UKHarvest, a charitable perishable food rescue operation that collects quality excess food from commercial outlets and delivers it, direct and free of charge, to charities.
Born in Ireland, British/Irish national. Graduated from Nottingham Law School with a Bachelor of Law Honours Degree (LLB (hons)) and later a Certificate in International Business from University of Cambridge.
