Julia develops and implements the strategic direction of RoSPA qualifications, awards and events to achieve objectives linked to RoSPA’s mission and financial objectives. She is a member of the RoSPA Executive Management Team and RoSPA Qualifications Governing Body.
She has a BA (Hons) in business management and has led the RoSPA awards and events business for over 13 years. Responsibilities include ensuring the efficient and effective use of resources, budget and line management, overseeing Ofqual compliance and investigations, oversight of RoSPA’s robust awards procedures and judging including the secure online entry system used by nearly 2,000 entrants, creating market leading events including the celebratory award ceremonies with celebrity speakers attended by over 3000 guests annually.
Julia has project managed many RoSPA events including the RoSPA Centenary Royal Garden Party where 3500 guests were hosted by the society at Buckingham Palace and which involved working closely with the Lord Chamberlain’s office and police to ensure all guests passed robust security checks.
She previously worked for event management agency RS Live (now Grayling) and worked with clients such as The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, National College for Teaching and Leadership and Department of Health.
